I don�t leave home without them. Immensely better than the thick bulky pouches made buy other companies

Offers some protection. I biggest advantage it that it fits well in a camera backpack.
Worked closely with LiveChat agent prior to placing my order of the Canon LP1014 Soft Lens Case. It's a pouch, of course, and works well with my needs. I was assured that it would fit my EF 50mm f/1.4 lens and hood (attached/reversed). It does fit, however it is snug. It requires some pushing and pulling to get it in. Once in, the height is just fine. A little disappointed in the fit as when I was assured that it would fit, I presumed that it would fit easily.
Bought this since the little 50mm lens didn't come with a case. Needed something to protect the lens when it's in my backpack. Perfect size and protects the lens.
