CineMilled CM-071 Overview
When using the MoVI Pro with heavy loads, with the pan adjustment fully maxed out, the only way to get pan balance is by mounting pan counterweights. The PAN Counterweight Mount for the MoVI Pro from CineMilled provides a way to do that. It allows you to add optional 1" and 2" CineMilled counterweights (CM-070 and CM-080).
The mount clamps around the two carbon fiber pan tubes (and is then screwed together) and offers multiple 3/8"-16 threaded holes that you can secure the weights to (the weights are also stackable). The weights can be screwed into different 3/8"-16 holes to let you find the position that works best for your shot.
This mount can also be used even if you do have room for more pan adjustment. When you have the MoVI on a support like the Tilta Armor-Man, the rear of the MoVI ends up being so close to your body that it leaves you with less room to operate. By adding counterweights, you can create more room between your body and the MoVI.
