Erica Synths EG2 Overview
Modular synthesizer enthusiasts looking for an envelope generator with unconventional features will be impressed with the erica synths Black EG2, a Eurorack compatible analog envelope generator that is very useful for experimental setups. The Black EG2 provides an optional Gate Length setting, which allows for generating full ADSR envelopes, even if a short trigger is used at the input.
Additionally, this module offers a loop mode, which outputs a full ADSR envelope instead of a classical AD envelope. The gate length is both manual and CV controlled, which allows this envelope generator to be used in compact modular setups controlled only by trigger sequencers. The Black EG2 includes a ribbon power cable and mounting screws.
