The 22" FotodioX 5-in-1 Reflector Pro Collapsible Disc is a handy photo solution in the studio or on location, eliminating the need for multiple reflectors, silks, and solids. The reflector features a removable, reversible cover which allows for five unique functions, including different reflective surfaces and light diffusion.

Diversified Light Modification

After removing the reflective cover from the unit, the translucent inner material can be used to diffuse light, producing a broad source with a soft, wraparound effect that helps to eliminate hard shadows and achieve a more flattering look for portraits.

The reversible cover may then be zippered onto the frame with a choice of four modification surfaces. Opting for a white reflector will produce an even, neutral-colored bounce that effectively works as a fill light source for both product shots and indoor/outdoor portraits. It can also be used as a white backdrop for headshots. The silver side of the sleeve offers a cool color balance with higher contrast and increases specular highlights, which may be particularly helpful for black-and-white photography. Gold material allows for reflections to be warmed before hitting a subject with the potential to enhance skin tones by adding a natural glow. While reflecting and modifying light may elevate certain shots, an opaque black option is included for the reflector to prevent unwanted spill or envision dramatic and high-contrast portraits.

This reflector allows you to quickly and easily make adjustments to your lighting in order to get the look you want. The purchase of an optional reflector arm with a universal grip for a light stand or a reflector boom stand with an arm is suggested to hold the disc where needed, especially if you are working alone. The disc can fold down to approximately 1/3 its working size and be stored in the included carrying bag.
