Does what it's supposed to do and does it well. The gold standard. Use it for protection mostly.
Have 1/2 a dozen LensCoats for my superteles, this is by far the best fitting (read complete protection) of any I own. Nice job!!
Perfect fit. Lives up to LensCoat's normal high standards.
I would give this cover a five star rating except the cost is twice what it should be.
Nice enough, fit is snug, we'll see about durability. But costs at least twice what it should. $40 should be plenty.
I waited over a year before I could bring myself to spend the money on this cover. I like these covers....just not the price. I'm not real sure how much protection it will offer other than preventing scratches and scuffing. My lens rolled onto the floorboard a couple of weeks ago and luckily only suffered a minor fracture to the lens hood. Not sure if the lens coat would have prevented the damage, but I decided I might as well invest in the lens cover.
I've had mine for a year, and it's shot. I'm not sure how it could be made so that it would hold up better but it's not something I feel like replacing annually. Two sections have completely split in half, so they don't stay on, of course. The remaining sections are severely frayed.
