This is wonderful for locking my Canon bodies to my various heavy lenses. My T3i, 6D and 1DX Mk II all work great with my Tamron 150-600 on here, locking it so it has none of the slight play that normally exists with this lens. The long plate lets me move it around to balance it on my tripod or astronomic telescope mount. Sturdy, well-designed and highly adjustable.
