The Mini Maglite 2-Cell AA Flashlight was a big success when it was launched in 1984, thanks to its sleek form factor and exceptional performance. Today, with its Xenon incandescent bulb, diamond-knurled grip, and two AA alkaline batteries, the Mini Maglite has achieved iconic status, and continues to be popular for all-around use, outdoor recreation, and emergency preparedness.

Twist the head of this 14-lumen torch to choose between a wide flood beam and a focused spot. You can use the light in candle mode for 360° illumination. The batteries provide a 5.25-hour run time, and there's a spare bulb inside the tailcap. The Mini Maglite is manufactured in the USA from anodized aluminum alloy for corrosion, weather, and impact resistance. This item ships in clamshell packaging.

    Maglite Mini Reviews

Small in Size - Big on Light

Great handy flashlight to have on nightstand to use overnight instead of table light if I need light overnight and not wanting to disturb my partner.

    Typical Maglite

The Mini Maglite AAA cell light is well-machined as usual for a Maglite product. Operation is exactly as expected. The light is quite bright for being so small, and the pocket clip is a nice bonus feature since this light is not much larger than a ball point pen. It is tiny and capable.

    Still the same

And what more could you ask for? Someone gave me the LED version, which is great for footpaths in the dark, but it was too bright for close work.

    High Quality, One Objection

As expected from MAGLite, quality is excellent, worth the price in a market filled with defect prone flashlights. My objection: I find changing from full power to reduced power (battery saving) by rotating the head twice, quickly (on - off - on reduced power) is awkward. I would MUCH prefer a push button with 3 presses (on - on low power - off).

They used to come in a box...

Yeah, OK, it's a Maglite. They're awesome. I needed a 2xAAA LED Mini. Some places wanted $40 so I went shopping. I'd patronized many times over the last million years so I had no problem ordering from the. I got a Maglite in a presentation case (right in the garbage, that's going) in a zipper bag I got what I paid for.

Durable, Safe Light In Even Extreme Conditions

I love Maglite flashlights because they're built like tanks, so they last forever and provide *safe* light. If you value your vision, use Maglite incandescent flashlights instead of LED flashlights, which can literally damage your eyes. Maglite incandescent flashlights can be used in the most extreme environments, including applications where electrical discharge or induced currents will explode the semiconductor junction in an LED flashlight. HDX batteries from Home Depot are designed and built not to leak, so they make the perfect combination with Maglites.
