The Nikon CL-M2 Lens Case (Black) is a replacement for the case originally supplied with a Nikon Telephoto AF-S Nikkor 300mm f/4D ED-IF Autofocus Lens or Zoom Telephoto AF VR Zoom Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8D G-AFS ED-IF Autofocus Lens (Vibration Reduction).

Works great with Z70-200/2.8 S
The included bag with the Z lens is worthless. I bought this case to get something with more protection. It fits great and highly recommend it with the new Z lens. I have seen complaints about the zipper but I just don�t see the issue. The Velcro appears to be very durable. I cannot wait to take it out on shoots more.
Fits the Fujifilm 100-400...
This case came with my 70-200 2.8 VRII but I never really used it with that lens. It fits the Fujifilm 100-400 perfect, I use it with a small bag for the Fuji system, body and two lenses.
Durable
All of the Nkon cases are fairly well made nylon makes it light. I dropped my 24-70mm while in one and it came out with just a broken filter could have been much worse, IMO ! Im getting them for all my lenses!!!
An excellent replacement for hard case
The old hard cases were fine but hard to travel with. This style case works much better.
Does the job
I bought a used Nikon 70-200mm lens that did not include a case. I originally bought another case because I was trying to save a few bucks. However, it was a very tight fit with the lens hood attached. The Nikon CL-M2 case is designed for my lens, so it was a perfect fit. I feel it could use a little more padding. The strap that it comes with has no padding either. So carrying the lens in this case by itself for a long time might get uncomfortable.
It works
My camera backpack is full. I needed a way to carry this lens 70-200 and this case was perfect for it.
Nice Case
These cases a a little bit pricey, but they are well padded and seem to be durable.
Nice Lens Case
One of the case came with my Nikkor 7--200 lens. It's nicely constructed, and so I purchased another one for my Micro-Nikkor 200mm.
