ProMediaGear GT2R Tomahawk V2 Gimbal Head Attachment for Ball Heads (Red)
ProMediaGear GT2 Overview
The GT2R Tomahawk V2 Gimbal Head Attachment for Ball Heads from ProMediaGear attaches to Arca-type ball heads and holds a telephoto lens, providing gimbal movement for the lens. It has two built-in Arca-type dovetails at the base for attaching it to ball heads and has an Arca-type clamp with a quick release plate on top. Long telephoto lenses can be attached via a native Arca-type tripod foot or attached quick release plate.
Between the tilt adjustment of the Arca-type clamp and the movement of the ball head, the setup will provide a full tilt and swivel range of movement. There are knobs to loosen and tighten movement, and a bubble level for checking balance. The bottom and side of the base also feature 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads in addition to the built-in dovetails. These allow the GT2 to be mounted on tripods, monopods, and other supports. The GT2 is made of T6061 aluminum with a red finish, and it has stainless steel sealed bearings.
